Digital Women
Digital Women (Digi Women) is a flagship initiative by TECHFARM Hub aimed at promoting digital transformation and financial inclusion for women-led MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). The program seeks to bridge the gender and financial digital divide by equipping women entrepreneurs with essential business development resources, digital financial management skills, and tools for scaling their businesses. Digi Women focuses on addressing challenges such as competition, market adaptation, technological changes, and capacity constraints while supporting sustainable development goals.
Through partnerships and innovative solutions, the initiative has directly empowered over 50 women-owned Startups and MSMEs to access digital trade platforms, financial literacy, digital payments, digital marketing and market linkages particularly through AfCFTA opportunities.
Participation benefits include access to training, networking, low-interest business loans, and investment linkages. Women between the ages of 18-45 who own or manage MSMEs are encouraged to participate and enhance their skills through workshops and mentorship.
